The bus is comfortable and the staff are very friendly.

I booked online and it was easy. The bus ride was smooth and the staff were very friendly. I was a passenger twice (from Yangnon to Bagan, and return) and had the same staff both times. They were very attentive and professional. I would definitely book again.

The JJ bus was comfortable. They offer blanket, pillow and some snacks. The bus station in Yangon is messy and there are no good options for dining. In New Bagan, on the way back the hotel booked the bus for us, a smaller bus came to pick-us up at the hotel, which was super convenient and saved us the taxi fare.

The seats are as comfortable as you can expect. We mostly left on time but it seemed we waited for someone who was 20 minutes late. I don't understand why. The lady speaking English didn't speak any of the types of English I could understand so I just guessed about what was happening. The driver was good. It was 17C outside and they were blasting the AC (just as another reviewer stated they experienced too). I had on my pants, long sleeve, winter hat, hoodie, blanket, and I was shivering. Everyone was freezing. It makes me hate this bus. But in reality, the 3 bus companies I used all did this. They really need to stop blasting Aircon when it's already super cold inside. Invest in some adjustable switches maybe for temperature control. Everyone was freezing. If it wasn't for the aircon.... definitely 5 stars. But I'm giving 3 stars in hopes others get a warmer ride in the future. Great quality company. It was 8 hours of freezing cold. It's a 2+1 so seat 3 is best in my opinion.
